Verve Coffee Roasters was established by Colby Barr and Ryan O'Donovan in Santa Cruz, CA  2007. The two met at Chico State and developed a love affair with the specialty coffee scene. Colby once owned the Naked Lounge during his time in Chico, Ca.

Today, their roaster is a global phenomenon, due to their unrelenting pursuit of high quality green coffee, distribution of wealth on the farm level floor and unique approach and style to roasting.
